Yeah. didn't re-read any EDAs. the original plan was "all free to air Who", then I decided to do some NAs for nostalgia/they basically created modern Who reasons, then bunged in some BF for completeness.
Seems reasonable. My own “reread everything” marathon has taken me three years so far and I’ve got to season 22 stuff. It’s been a fairly long drawn out stage of the proceedings. Mark of the Rani and Timelash both took months to get through, since I couldn’t read more than a page or two without wanting to throw my phone at the wall. I’ve had to endure three Saward novels, of which Slipback was the crown turd on the podium, and now I’m on my second Christopher Bulis book in a row, with Trial coming next. I knew this would be a tricky period when I started, but fml, it’s more trying than I ever imagined.
I remember it being better than it was. This time, thirty seven years later, I spent the first third wading through Eric’s sub-Adamsian toss waiting for the TARDIS crew to turn up and when they did, they did the square root of fuck all.
'Neverland' was the end of my attempt to get on the BF bus. I don't think I hated it as much as you. I just couldn't face 'Zagreus' with its many, many discs.
What you were saying about good ideas being in there; I vaguely remember reading a thing online that 'Neverland' is 'Interference' done bad. Anti-Time is The Cold etc.
Of all things shit and Big Finish (of which there are a great many), you *chose* Zagreus? You poor silly bugger.
Yeah, missing out on the Shearmans is a great shame!
oh but the point was to do a representative slice of the Wilderness Years stuff. doing a *good* BF would have been misleading
Cunning. You’ve gone straight to 2002. Are you missing out Alien Bodies?

There's Paul Margrs stuff too from the Wilderness Years and "Spare Parts", Cornell's "The Shadow of the Scourge", even "Storm Warning".
